VBSWG2 Description and Removal Instructions
Worm VBSWG2 is an Internet spyware, which spreads mostly by e-mail in messages with infected attachments. It installs itself to the computer and starts to spread. It uses Microsoft Outlook mail application to send its copies to addresses found in the Address Book. The worm also opens web sites, which contain pornographic contents.
Automatically Detect VBSWG2
 Download SpyHunter* Scanner to Detect VBSWG2.
- Run a full system scan to detect VBSWG2 files.
- Once you've detected VBSWG2 on your PC, you will then need to purchase SpyHunter to start the removal process.
- Reboot your PC and rerun the scan for any remaining traces of VBSWG2.
Remove VBSWG2 Manually
To remove all VBSWG2 files, you must kill all VBSWG2
processes that are running in your
computer's memory.
To kill VBSWG2
processes, press
CTRL+ALT+DELETE
to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the
"Processes" tab,
search for VBSWG2, then
right-click it and select
"End
Process" key.
You'll also need to remove VBSWG2
registry keys. To remove VBSWG2 registry keys, click on the
Windows
"Start" button
and select
"Run"
to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type
"regedit" into the
box, and click
"OK".
Search for the registry key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\VBSWG2."
Right-click it and select
"Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other
files to clean your PC of VBSWG2. These VBSWG2
can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, VBSWG2
might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\VBSWG2\VBSWG2.exe.
Locate and remove these files.
