Veka Description and Removal Instructions
This is an Internet worm. It uses several ways to infect your computer. It can affect the functionality of several applications, infect or even remove some of your personal documents, computer files and other data. The worm can be used by attackers to get in your PC and control it remotely.
Automatically Detect Veka
 Download SpyHunter* Scanner to Detect Veka.
- Run a full system scan to detect Veka files.
- Once you've detected Veka on your PC, you will then need to purchase SpyHunter to start the removal process.
- Reboot your PC and rerun the scan for any remaining traces of Veka.
Remove Veka Manually
To remove all Veka files, you must kill all Veka
processes that are running in your
computer's memory.
To kill Veka
processes, press
CTRL+ALT+DELETE
to open the Windows Task Manager. Click on the
"Processes" tab,
search for Veka, then
right-click it and select
"End
Process" key.
You'll also need to remove Veka
registry keys. To remove Veka registry keys, click on the
Windows
"Start" button
and select
"Run"
to open Windows Registry Editor. A window will popup. Type
"regedit" into the
box, and click
"OK".
Search for the registry key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Veka."
Right-click it and select
"Delete."
Finally, you'll need to manually delete other
files to clean your PC of Veka. These Veka
can be in the form of EXE, DLL, LSP, TOOLBAR, BROWSER HIJACK, and/or BROWSER PLUGIN. For example, Veka
might create a file like
%PROGRAM_FILES%\Veka\Veka.exe.
Locate and remove these files.
